In this paper, I summarize more than 30 articles about Social Media topics that I wrote last six months. Social Media strategy was among the principal issue of Social Media discussion.
To create a good strategy on social media in 2016, Hubspot blog proposed social media checklist in order to succeed on social platforms. Among Social Media checklists, there are defining the target audience, creating educational content, focusing on few key social channels and measuring results that Brands can check.
Social Media strategies can help Brand to interact with people. Pam Moore, CEO for Social Zoom, explained that Social Media can allow Brand to improve customer experience by delivering a message value to customers, prospective customers, partners, communities and audience online and offline.
Also to develop good social media strategies, company should identify what kind of skills a social media manager must have to implement a good plan. Sprout Social, a social media adviser company, reported 13 Social Media skills which must have all Social Media Managers. Community management, Creativity, SEO, analytic skills and the ability to learn new technology quickly were among the Social Media skills.
To implement a better social media strategy, Brand must also understand some laws and functions of a social media message that can be delivered to people. Susan Gunelius, CEO of KeySplash, proposed 10 Social Media marketing laws to help Brands to elevate the audience and customer base. Brands should listen, focus on customers and offer a good value to people. McKinsey & Co. decrypted four functions of Social Media messaging: monitor, respond, amplify and lead Social Media message to communicate and engage with people on Social Media. Sprout Social suggested some tips to help Social Media manager to combine SEO and Social Media strategies. Social Media Manager must be focus on content, implement the sharing and improve inbounds techniques.
In conclusion, Social Media strategy can allow Brands to implement a plan to communicate and to talk with people. Company should understand what message to deliver and how to respond to client needs.
